There is now a Parsha class Shabbos mornings from 9:15--9:30AM before Shacharis. Rabbi Gutstein will be discussing one or two key topics from the weekly Parsha, with explanations from various commentators.
UPCOMING NEWS & EVENTS:
Congregation Yehuda Moshe presents a special Scholars-in-Residence weekend on Friday and Saturday May 9-10, Shabbos Parashas Acharei Mos-Kedoshim (Mother's Day weekend).
The event will feature presentations by the women of Congregation Yehuda Moshe on female Biblical personalities they selected, provide insight into the heroines, and tell their inside story as they see it from their personal viewpoint and Rabbinic sources. The women presenters are from a cross- section of the congregation. This will hopefully provide an exciting variety of interpretations, creating a special Scholar-in-Residence weekend.
The weekend includes:
* Kabbalas Shabbos service Friday night, May 9, followed by dinner and several presentations.
* Shabbos morning, May 10, services and Kiddush, followed by more presentations.
Aside from studying Torah, this event will hopefully provide everyone with a great experience and learning.
