Congregation Yehuda Moshe located in Lincolnwood, Illinois was founded in 1964 by Rabbi Oscar Z. Fasman, who worked tirelessly for the synagogue until his retirement in 1998. During Rabbi Fasman's 34 years as the spiritual leader, he attracted local residents to the synagogue and watched the synagogue grow - both in numbers and in spirit Upon Rabbi Fasman’s retirement, the congregation appointed his protégé, Rabbi Joel Gutstein to be their spiritual leader. Rabbi Gutstein is available for the needs of the congregation at almost all hours of the day and night.
The synagogue holds services every morning and afternoon throughout the year. Conveniently located just off of the Edens Expressway at Touhy Avenue, allowing people passing by to catch a minyan on their way to and from work.
In addition to the daily services, the synagogue has an active Shabbat program for members of the synagogue and the community at-large. Stop by and visit our synagogue at your convenience.
